Description
River Falloch in Stirling tumbles between broad pale boulders below green glen slopes, with small leafy bank trees and snowy distant peaks under cream clouds in bright late spring afternoon light.
This river runs through Glen Falloch towards the northern end of Loch Lomond at Ardlui. South of Crianlarich, it descends over the Falls of Falloch, an abrupt drop about thirty feet high. The surrounding glen contains woodland and open hillsides along the route between the Highland villages.
River Falloch steps through pale rounded boulders in a blue channel between low green banks. Short white cascades interrupt the water below small leafy trees on the left slope. Farther up the glen, pointed mountains retain narrow summit snow patches. Cream clouds and fresh green vegetation suggest bright afternoon light late in spring beside the rocky current.
