Description
River Treig moves between rocky banks and bare trees in this quiet Highland view, with soft evening light reflected on the water The water reflects the trees.
The river widens across the foreground, reflecting the pale sky and branches along its edge. Flat rocks and grassy banks project into the water from both sides. Bare-limbed trees frame the channel, their reflections forming dark vertical lines on the surface. A pointed mountain rises in the distance between lower wooded slopes, beneath layered clouds.
