Description
Selworthy draws the eye from an old parish tower through rose-coloured shrubs towards a shining inlet and the steep green Exmoor distance on a bright coastal morning.
A compact stone church with a square crenellated tower stands among deep green trees, its long nave and pointed windows facing the slope. A narrow path passes through clipped grass and pink flowering hedges towards the churchyard, while low stone borders define the foreground. Beyond the roofline, blue water and folded green hills open into a sunlit coastal distance.
