Description
Shee Water in Perthshire winds between pale gravel banks and dense green trees, with orange reflections below a rounded hill beneath purple clouds at a calm late summer sunset.
Shee Water rises around the Cairnwell mountains south of Braemar and flows through Glen Shee. Farther downstream it becomes the Blackwater, which meets the Ardle at Bridge of Cally to form the Ericht. These bouldery upland rivers provide important spawning and nursery habitat for Atlantic salmon.
Blue water curves between pale gravel bars beneath dense leafy trees. Warm orange reflections stretch along the left channel, beside larger angular stones at the near edge. A rounded purple hill rises above the mixed canopy, its grassy shoulder touched by gold light. Purple clouds across the orange sky suggest a calm late summer sunset along the wooded river.
