Description
St Martin's in the Isles of Scilly leaves a trail of footprints across white sand, with small dinghies floating on turquoise water below a lightly clouded summer sky.
St Martin's is one of the inhabited Isles of Scilly off Cornwall. Its coast combines long beaches with rocky coves, and Lawrence’s Bay offers rock pools beside sheltered shallows. Heath-covered paths cross the island, linking coastal views with flower growing and a small local vineyard.
Footprints curve away across pale sand towards granite boulders at the left. Gentle waves leave a thin white edge beside scattered seaweed. Two small boats float on clear turquoise water among pink mooring buoys, with a low rocky islet further out. The far shore carries white sand and greenery beneath bright, lavender-shadowed summer clouds.
