Description
Tarbet in Highland meets Loch Nevis at a curved stone jetty, where small boats rest on blue water beneath bright clouds and rugged green mountains.
Tarbet is a small settlement on Loch Nevis in Highland, on Scotland’s western coast. A ferry landing meets the bay at a rocky shore, with steep hills rising across the water. The loch and its surrounding slopes give the place an open, remote setting.
A broad stone path curves out from the rocky foreground over the shore and reaches a short jetty at the water. Two small boats rest on bright blue water below steep green ridges streaked with exposed grey rock. Large white clouds break across the open sky, their pale forms set against clear blue. The low rail follows the bend towards the bay.
