Description
The Cobbler above Arrochar in Scotland raises an orange rocky crest over dark forest, its autumn woods and small shore cottages reflected in still water beneath cream-coloured clouds.
Also called Ben Arthur, The Cobbler belongs to the Arrochar Alps in Argyll. Its summit rises to 2,891 feet, placing it among Scotland’s Corbetts. The surrounding mountains form part of Argyll Forest Park, with routes ranging from woodland walks to demanding upland climbs.
Warm orange slopes rise above dense belts of blue-green conifers, with dark rocks breaking the uneven crest. Red and gold deciduous trees colour the lower hillside. Small white cottages sit at the water’s edge, repeating in long reflections across the still loch. Shore rocks darken the foreground, while cream clouds drift through a clear autumn sky.
