Description
Traeth yr Ora on Anglesey curves pale sand around calm blue shallows, with green headlands and pink near heather beneath cream clouds in soft sunshine on a late summer afternoon.
This secluded beach lies near Brynrefail on the Anglesey coast, a short walk from the larger sands at Lligwy. The coastal path between Amlwch Port and Moelfre passes this stretch of shore, continuing over low fields and around neighbouring headlands towards Porth y Môr.
Traeth yr Ora sweeps pale sand around a blue bay edged by small white surf lines. A green rocky headland projects into the water beyond the far beach, with fields and wooded slopes behind. Pink heather and grey near slabs frame the shoreline. A distant stone tower rises offshore beneath cream clouds, suggesting soft afternoon sunshine late in summer.
