An architectural design for two commemorative obelisks created for the 1795 Alliantiefeest in Amsterdam, rendered in a precise Neoclassical style.
This architectural print depicts the design for two commemorative obelisks erected for the Alliantiefeest (Alliance Festival) held in the Plantage district of Amsterdam on 19 June 1795. The festival celebrated the alliance between the Batavian Republic and the French Republic following the Batavian Revolution.
