Description
Warwick Castle's towers and long battlemented front glow gold across a still bend of the River Avon, framed by dark leaves and a bright sunset.
Two round towers with crowning parapets stand above the main range, and a small timber landing stage reaches into the water at the lower right. Layers of sunlit trees fill both banks, the towers shimmer in the river, and apricot and violet cloud banks stack above the line of battlements. Soft ripples break the reflections into long gold and mauve bars.
The classic view from the bridge over the Avon is the one many visitors photograph, and Warwick locals know the quiet bend well. The warm light suits a dining room, a bedroom or any space that likes a golden hour.
