At Weeting Heath, a solitary standing stone rises beside tall pines and purple heather, setting a quiet focal point against Norfolk’s open heath ground.
The central monolith carries pale lichen patches and a deep blue-grey shadow along one side. Rounded boulders lie in sandy tracks at its base, while low flowering scrub spreads across the uneven ground.
