Description
Wildmoor Heath unfolds around purple heather and a still heathland pool, where a lone pine gives Bracknell Forest a quiet, open focus beneath broad summer cloud.
Heather fills the foreground in bands of mauve and rose, broken by ochre grasses and dark low shrubs. A pale pool catches the sky at the foot of a spreading pine, while wooded ridges recede in blue-grey layers beyond the open ground.
