Description
Worm's Head stretches into blue water as a grassy tidal ridge, with dark rock shelves and white surf giving this Welsh coast scene a strong, sea-facing line.
A pale footpath runs along the high ground from the near cliffs towards a flat-topped rocky end. Warm grass covers the ridge, while dark ledges break the shore and white water gathers in the inlets. Large cream clouds cross a blue sky above a calm horizon, with a low distant coast visible to the left.
For anyone who has watched the tide around Worm's Head, the changing access to the headland is part of the visit. This view keeps the route, the exposed rock and the sweep of water together, recalling the pull of the Gower coast for residents and returning visitors.
