Description
Tamatori cuts across the water with the pearl clutched close as the dragon, octopus and fish retainers surge behind her in opposing currents and one continuous rush.
The pursuit begins once Tamatori has taken the jewel. She drives through the water while the dragon's head, an octopus and armed fish retainers bend into the chase behind her. The image keeps an escape route open, so the bodies feel like a moving pressure rather than a static display of creatures.
This contemporary interpretation gives the scene its strongest colour strike: vermilion, indigo, sea green and one small pale pearl collide in a steep current. Heavy black lines keep each creature readable while the diver's diagonal cuts through their shared momentum. It is the third print in the four-scene story, where the promise becomes a full fight for survival.
