This engraving, Madonna Enthroned with Eight Angels, demonstrates the technical precision that defined his output. The composition features the Virgin Mary seated upon an ornate throne, holding the Christ Child. Eight angels surround the central figures, with two positioned at the top of the canopy and others arranged in the foreground and sides. The artist employs a dense system of hatching and cross-hatching to define the folds of the drapery and the architectural elements of the throne.

The work reflects the Gothic aesthetic prevalent in the Upper Rhine region during the mid-fifteenth century. The figures possess elongated proportions and expressive facial features, typical of the period.
