This specific work, numbered 93, depicts a quiet scene along the Nakagawa River. The composition employs a high vantage point, looking down upon the ferry crossing where travellers and a pack horse wait near the water.

The foreground features a teahouse with figures visible inside, framed by slender pine trees that provide a vertical counterpoint to the horizontal expanse of the river. A boat with a large, pale sail glides across the water, while the background reveals a distant mountain silhouette against a sky transitioning from a deep indigo at the top to a warm, glowing orange near the horizon.
